Some weeks ago, Microsoft released the lists of existing Lumia phones to get the Windows 10 update first; here is another good news that every Windows phone users have been waiting for. Microsoft took to comment to replay a fan about the released month of the Windows 10 update to the existing Lumia phones.
Microsoft host a Windows 10 Devices on 6th of October, 2015 which they introduce new phones, tablet and hybrid laptop but the news of the Windows 10 for the windows phone didn’t seems to come out. Thanks to the curiosity of a fan, we now know when to expect windows 10 to windows phones.
Microsoft replies that the Windows 10 Mobile update will start rolling out by December of this year to the picked existing Lumia phones. Microsoft also announced the already existing of the Windows 10 Mobile on their newly introduce Lumia phone [Lumia 950 and 950XL] which will be release before December.
Microsoft also said on their webpage that the update will be available for majority of Lumia smartphones running Windows 8.1 OS and also added that 8GB of internal storage will be required for the update, meaning any Lumia phones running less than 8GB of internal memory are out of luck.
