Is no doubt that GTB is one of the most used Bank in Nigeria. Of recent, GTB introduce a new ways of re-charging/buying airtime off-line using your GTB account by requesting the amount. This is the easiest method, than using the Internet Banking method which require a Token Device to complete.
Using this method is easy and fast, no internet connection require and no need for token device but it only work with the number you register your GTB account with.
How to Re-Charge/Buy Airtime Off-Line With GTBank Account
=> Pick up Your Phone, which the sim is on, and
=> Dial *737*recharge card amount#, e.g. *737*200#.
=> You will receive a "Processing Message" from GTBank.
=> Your line will be recharge any moment after the message.
Note:- You can only do this using the number you register your GTB account with, it won't work on any other number unless its also register with another GTB account.
I have try this once and it works, so you are safe.
