I have come across people asking why they are being unfollowed on twitter by their followers.
This may be cause by you (90%) and not you (10%)
Am going to share with you some reasons I can figure out which may be causing it.
1:- If you are not using a DP (Display Picture):-
Lot of you don't have a display picture for your twitter account and this maybe because you are using a Java phone. And Twitter have this crazy idea of not putting DP uploading option in Mobile version of their site. Unless you are using a desktop version or Twitter Apps on your smartphone. For Java users, In my next post, I will give you some steps on how to upload your picture to twitter using your java phone.
2:- If you are not following back:-
I think you suppose to know about this, a lot of people will unfollow you if you not following them back, its common, even you may be doing it.
3:- If you are not active:- This is also one of the common reason why people will unfollow you, if you are the type that don't post always or at all, then expect being unfollowed daily. A lot of people will unfollow you if you are not active on their list. If you think they can't know you are not active,
then think again. Lot of website out there will help you track down your "inactive following", "those who are not using DP" and "those who are not following back" with a shortcut key of "unfollow". So you are easy to be found.
4:- if your post isn't interesting or is annoy:- if you ask me, am not sure how they do know but this is part of the reasons you get unfollow. People cannot be predict, only one tweet that annoy him/her will make they unfollow you. But can you really know what make other get annoy?
5:- selfish reasons:- Some people will also unfollow you for their own selfish reasons, most of them want their "followers" total amount to be higher than their "following". For a purpose best know by them. So they will unfollow people randomly which you may be part of the victim.
